Face masks required on buses, indoors at facilities

In accordance with the St. Cloud City Council Emergency Ordinance 2818 (“examples include…public
transportation…”), customers are required to wear face masks on all buses and in all indoor Metro Bus facilities.

Effective Saturday, July 25, in accordance with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s Executive Order 20-81 (“… indoor business or public indoor space, including when waiting outdoors to enter an indoor business or public indoor space…”, “…riding on public transportation…”), passengers waiting at bus stops and outdoors at Metro Bus facilities will be required to wear face masks as well.

These requirements will be in effect until BOTH the St. Cloud city ordinance and the Governor’s order are lifted.

Metro Bus has cloth face masks available by request on ConneX and Dial-a-Ride buses and at the Transit Center.
