Metro Bus provides free shuttle service for Hockey Day events

ST. CLOUD (updated 1/17/18) — Metro Bus is operating two free shuttle bus routes for the Hockey Day MN events at Lake George and the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center on January 19 and 20. The routes will operate continuously, approximately every 10 minutes.

On Friday, January 19, the North Route will run between downtown and Lake George 3:30 pm-12:30 am. On Saturday, January 20, the North Route will run 8 am -10:30 pm, and the South Route will run between Lake George, on the East Lake Boulevard near the main gate and outside the National Hockey Center on 4th Ave S. from 4-5 pm and 8-9 pm. Look for the “HDM Shuttle Stop” signs posted by the City of St. Cloud at the designated pickup points marked on the map. Shuttle buses will feature the route names “Hockey Day MN North Route” and “Hockey Day South Route.”

Some people may wish to avoid driving and parking downtown. Metro Bus Fixed Route service is available from approximately 5 am-9 pm Monday-Friday, 8 am-6 pm Saturdays and 9 am-5 pm on Sundays. Times for individual routes may vary, so check the bus schedule ahead of time. Schedules are available on and in every Metro Bus facility and bus.
