Free summer bus passes for kids, optional free how-to-ride class also available

ST. CLOUD (Revised 5/23/17)— Kids ages 17 and younger can ride Metro Bus free this summer with the U-Go Free Summer Youth Pass. Parents/Guardians can register their child age 17 and younger for the pass at the Transit Center located in downtown St. Cloud, 510 1st S. S. Passes are valid for unlimited rides between June 1 and August 31, 2017.  The registration form is available at the Transit Center or it can be downloaded below.

Due to a delay with our pass vendor, the U-Go Free passes distribution has been delayed.  We hope to have passes available by May 27. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please check with the Transit Center or call ahead of time to check availability, 320.251.7433.

Free How-To-Ride Class for Kids
Metro Bus is offering a free bus riding skills class for kids ages 10 and up and their families at the Metro Bus Mobility Training Center, 700 West St. Germain St, St. Cloud. Parents are encouraged to attend, but not mandatory. Participants will learn how to read bus schedules and maps; plan trips around town and review bus safety rules. Pre-registration is required. Register by calling the Metro Bus Mobility Training Center at 320.529.4497 or email info@stcloudmtc.com by June 5. Registration details needed: Name and ages of children; class option; contact information for parent/guardian and if adult will be attending.

Families have three sessions to pick from:

  1. 10-11:30 am Tuesday, June 14
  2. 6-7:30 pm Wednesday, June 15
  3. 3-4:30 pm Thursday, June 16
